Caustic Soda, Hydrochloric Acid and Other Chlor-Alkali Products from Bayer

Inorganic Basic Chemicals is a business unit within Bayer MaterialScience dedicated to marketing and selling several chlor-alkali products derived from producing raw materials for our polymers businesses. The Inorganic Basic Chemicals business unit offers:

  • 50% Solution Liquid Caustic Soda – also known as Solution Sodium Hydroxide; offered in membrane-grade quality
  • Hydrochloric Acid – also known as Muriatic Acid

    - 36%, Food Grade

  • - 36%, Commercial Grade

    - 32%, Food Grade

    - 32%, Commercial Grade

  • Sodium Hypochlorite – in limited quantities, contact us for availability

Included in this product line are a number of food-grade, NSF-certified and kosher products.

We manufacture our chlor-alkali products at several Bayer MaterialScience production facilities in the United States under strict quality control guidelines, including ISO 9001:2000 quality certified standards.
