Does BMS maintain contingency plans?
At
BMS, we undertake plans designed to help ensure that foreseeable
disruptions do not translate into interruptions in supply to our
customers. To this end we engage in business continuity planning
to mitigate the impact of negative events on supply, including
logistics, raw material and utility aspects. From preparing for
hurricanes to the reliability of our IT infrastructure, we work
to address risks along the supply chain. Our proactive approach
to business continuity and risk management is another example
of our commitment to customers and stakeholders as a leader in

Polymers) and 3 service companies (Bayer Technology Services,
Bayer Business Services, and Bayer Industry Services). In 2004,
Bayer organized its polymers businesses under the name Bayer MaterialScience
and transferred several polymers businesses and most of its chemicals
