Profile Extrusion

BMS produces several resins suitable for profile extrusion. The extrusion process for profiles is similar to sheet extrusion. The resin is fed into an extruder which melts the material and forces it through a die that gives it the desired shape. Additional processing is necessary to give the extruded profile its final contours. Depending on the application, profiles may be punched or may have printing applied.
