Desmopan TPU 600 Series

Injection-Molding Processing

Desmopan Soft-Touch TPU 600 Series grades may be processed on injection molding machines with common single-flight, three-zone screws with a compression ratio of 2:1. Short compression-zone screws are unsuitable. (See image below for Desmopan DP 6386A and DP 6065A.)

The illustration below shows guide values for the temperature setting of the cylinder and nozzle heating. A mold temperature of 20 to 40 degrees C (77 to 104 degrees F) should be used.
