Recycling

When you select one of the Desmopan 600 Series soft-touch thermoplastic polyurethane resins, you are choosing a thermoplastic material that can be easily recycled.

Desmopan TPU 600 series materials can be re-melted in a stable manner and reprocessed in the course of recycling (they must be pre-dried as virgin material.)

Up to 20% regrind can be mixed with virgin material but testing of the final component is still recommmended.

Contaminated or degraded parts should be disposed of and not re-introduced back into the process.

Molded parts in Desmopan and Texin thermoplastic polyurethane must be marked in accordance with DIN/ISO 11469 and ISO 11469 as depicted below:
